Watch Vampire Weekend Cover Post Malone’s ‘Sunflower’

Vampire Weekend are on the cusp of releasing their fourth studio album, Father Of The Bride, but for now they’ve taken to BBC’s Live Lounge to perform a surprising cover.

Last week, the band released their video for their new single ‘Sunflower’ and, funnily enough, opted to perform a cover of Post Malone‘s hit from last year, also titled ‘Sunflower’.

On top of that, they also performed the album’s lead single ‘Harmony Hall.’

Father of the Bride is set to be released Friday, 3rd May. ‘Harmony Hall’ was the first of four singles released from the album, followed by ‘2021’, ‘Sunflower’ and ‘Big Blue.

Vampire Weekend were in Australia pretty recently in the scheme of things – 2018 for Splendour In The Grass – but hopefully we’ll see them sooner rather than later.

Watch both performances below.
