Baltimore’s Animal Collective announced their first tour of 2019. The group’s October 2019 tour dates include a festival appearance and a series of headlining performances.
Animal Collective opens the tour at Cains Ballroom in Tulsa on October 7. Then, the group heads to Santa Fe, New Mexico on October 8 and Tuscon, Arizona on October 9. An appearance at Desert Daze in California will be followed by two additional stops in the state. A visit to Love Field in Point Reyes on October 12 leads into a night at the historic Henry Miller in Big Sur on October 13. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 26.
Members of AC have focused on their own projects to start 2019. Last year, the group released Tangerine Reef, an audiovisual album made in collaboration with Coral Morphologic. Animal Collective also embarked on a tour in celebration of their landmark 2004 album Sung Tongs.
