Blood Orange Debuts Two New Singles During Performance On ‘Corden’ [Watch]

Dev Hynes a.k.a Blood Orange was the featured musical guest on Tuesday night’s episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, where he treated viewers to a pair of brand new songs. Titled, “Something to Do” and “Dark Handsome”, the pair of songs act as the first new material shared by the songwriter and singer since Hynes released Negro Swan this past summer.

The performance featured Dynes and his troupe of backing vocalists all casually hanging in front of a brightly-lit red backdrop on a park-like stage setup. Hynes plays away softly on his guitar while laying on the ground beside a British flag, while the mix of female backing vocalists all seated on the benches behind him sing the repetitive lyrics of “Something to Do,” which didn’t last very long. Hynes then places his guitar to the side in exchange for a microphone to take over the lead singing duties for “Dark Handsome,” a smooth-hitting R&B tune featuring a solid foundation dreamy keyboard chords and a catchy drum beat. Fans can watch the video below to relive the entire performance from Tuesday.
