Gov’t Mule, Greensky Bluegrass, Shakey Graves and Mavis Staples are just a few of the acts on the 2019 lineup for the Borderland Festival. The event returns for its second year to Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora, New York September 22 – 23.
The Wood Brothers and The Infamous Stringdusters are also aboard for Borderland 2019. Plus, a special set from Keller Williams Grateful Grass will feature Oteil Burbridge and The Infamous Stringdusters. Oteil performed at last year’s inaugural festival with a band that included his brother Kofi Burbridge. The Oteil & Friends set was the last the two played together before Kofi’s tragic death in February.
Additional acts set to perform at the event include Rayland Baxter, The Sheepdogs, The Felice Brothers, Ghost Light and Liz Cooper & The Stampede. Check out the graphic below for the full initial lineup. More lineup announcements are forthcoming.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 5 at 10 a.m. ET here. Knox Farm State Park, HeadCount, Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper and the West Falls Center For The Arts will receive a portion of proceeds from the festival.
