This Wednesday, April 3 Billy Martin, Cyro Baptista, Joe Russo, Marc Ribot, Oteil Burbridge, Robert Walter and others will come together for a special benefit concert for the Creative Music Studio at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City. The Relix Channel will host a webcast of Wednesday night’s concert.
Dave Harrington, Fay Victor, Jonathan Goldberger, Peter Apfelbaum, Steven Bernstein and Stuart Bogie are also slated to perform at the benefit. While tickets are still on sale, for those who can’t make it the live webcast also benefits Creative Music Studio and is available here.
Creative Music Foundation (CMF) was founded in 1971 by Karl Berger, Ingrid Sertso and Ornette Coleman. The non-profit program CMF established in Woodstock, New York was dubbed the Creative Music Studio (CMS).
