Cold Lazarus Hits the Road for a Pair of Shows in Upstate New York

118

Jamestown, NY’s Cold Lazarus is headed East this weekend, gearing up for a Spring and Summer full of dates in support of the new album Colors and Lights, releasing soon. Cold Lazarus’ sound can be described as reggae-infused intellifunk- jam rock. Centered around a backdrop of funk-oriented groove rock, the band also incorporates elements of reggae, electronica and rock ‘n roll into their sets.

The band is comprised of Adam Gould (guitar/keys,) Gavin Paterniti (bass,) Marc Scapelitte (drums,) and the newest member of the band is Jeremy Bunce (guitar/keys.) When asked about what they are looking forward to the most this year, Gavin stated, “As we head into our third year as a band, I’m looking forward to expanding into new territory both musically and geographically. I’d like to carry the momentum we’ve built for ourselves forward with the release of our upcoming second album, Colors and Lights, and the addition of our newest member, Jeremy, who has brought some fresh energy and enthusiasm into the process of writing and rehearsing. I’m hoping for a strong 2019 full of great times, memories, and meetings.”

This weekend you can catch them at The Monopole in Plattsburgh on Friday, April 5 and on Saturday, April 6 at The Broken String in Watertown, joined by local favorites, GNARC.
