Guitarist Dweezil Zappa will perform his father, Frank Zappa’s famed 1969 album Hot Rats and other material over the course of the Hot Rats & Other Hot Stuff world tour. Dweezil will kick off the tour in North America this September before heading overseas to the UK in December.
The tour starts on September 3 at Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Next up is a trip through the Northeast that includes stops in New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Maryland. Dweezil and his band then head to the Midwest via Tennessee for performances in Cincinnati, Ann Arbor, London (Ontario), Cleveland, St. Charles (Illinois) and Fargo. The North American leg ends with concerts in Winnipeg, Calgary and Alberta.
Dweezil brings the tour to the UK for seven dates between December 4 and 11. Included are visits to London, Manchester, Southampton, Oxford, Glasgow, Leeds and Birmingham. Tickets for most shows go on sale this Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m. local time.
