Explosions in the Sky will celebrate their 20th anniversary with an upcoming North American fall tour. The Austin, Texas-based post-rock band that formed in 1999 will also play a batch of shows in Asia in May.
Explosions In The Sky, whose last album The Wilderness was released in 2016, will tour the West Coast in September, beginning September 11 in Mesa, Arizona. The tour then moves to California for five shows in five cities. The rest of the month features stops in Utah, Colorado and New Mexico. Explosions In The Sky’s 20th Anniversary Tour continues on October 10 in Knoxville, Tennessee. The band then routes through North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma.
A pre-sale for tickets [password: EITS99] begins tomorrow, Tuesday, April 16 at 10 a.m. local venue time. General tickets go on sale on Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m. local time.
