Ghost Light recorded a session for Denver/Boulder radio station KBCO on April 6. Pro-shot video featuring performances of originals “Best Kept Secret” and “Isosceles” filmed at KBCO Studio C have been shared by the station.
Both “Best Kept Secret” and “Isosceles” appear on the quintet’s recently released debut studio album Best Kept Secrets. Ghost Light recorded most of the LP between December 2017 – April 2018 at Rittenhouse Soundworks in Philadelphia with additional tracking at various locations. Percussionist Jim Hamilton, saxophonist/flutist Sam Greenfield, trumpeter Jon Shaw contributed to the record, which also features Bobby Conselatore on vibraphone and xylophone.
