Guster will hit the road this summer in continued support of their latest studio album, Look Alive. The veteran alt-rock band, who have built a loyal following over the years thanks to the looseness and relaxed energy of their live shows despite never having a pop hit, will hit the road beginning on July 9th. They’ll be joined throughout the tour on select dates by Rubblebucket, KOLARS, and Mikaela Davis.
Following the tour’s opening night in Santa Fe, NM on July 9th, Guster will continue playing across the western U.S. with KOLARS at The Van Buren in Phoenix, AZ (7/10); Humphrey’s Concerts By The Bay in San Diego, CA ( 7/11); Ford Theatre in Los Angeles, CA (7/12); and Uptown Theatre Napa in Napa, CA (7/14).
From there, the band will link up with Mikaela Davis as they make their way east across the midwest with shows at the Weesner Family Amphitheater in Apple Valley, MN (7/22); House of Blues in Cleveland, OH (7/26); XPoNential Fest in Camden, NJ (7/28); Bottle & Cork in Dewey Beach, DE (7/30); The National in Richmond, VA (8/2); and Arrowwood Farm-Brewery in Accord, NY (8/3).
The final stretch of dates will see Guster and Rubblebucket perform at Central Park SummerStage in New York City on August 8th, followed by both of their appearances at Guster’s on the Ocean Weekend event on August 9th-11th.
As for Rubblebucket, the indie rock/art-pop band from Brooklyn, NY released their own new album recently. The band’s 2018 Sun Machine LP arrived this past August on Grand Jury Music.
