J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr. unveiled a cover of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ “Don’t Do Me Like That.” Mascis added his own twist to the song off Petty & The Heartbreakers’ lead single from 1979’s Damn The Torpedoes.
The guitarist recently covered Petty’s “A Woman In Love (It’s Not Me)” as part of a live session at Seattle radio station KEXP. Mascis is currently touring in support of his 2018 solo album Elastic Days. Listen to J Mascis’ take on “Don’t Do Me Like That” below:
