Kurt Vile Performs For KEXP: Pro-Shot Video

125

In December of last year, Kurt Vile performed a session for KEXP in front of a live audience at the Seattle public radio station’s Gathering Space. The singer-songwriter mixed material from throughout his career for his four-song solo acoustic set.

Channeling Neil Young with just an acoustic guitar and harmonica, the Philadelphia-bred musician opened things up with a pair of tracks from his 2018 LP Bottle It In by offering up “Loading Zones” and “Bassackwards.” Vile then reached for “Ghost Town” from Smoke Ring For My Halo before closing things out with “Slow Talkers” from 2008’s Constant Hitmaker.
