Perpetual Groove Plots NYC Blowout As Part Of Fall Tour

109

Perpetual Groove has announced a show in New York City as part of their 2019 Fall tour. The Athens, GA-based improvisational rock quartet will hit Gramercy Theatre on Saturday, October 12th.

The band will be touring in support of their recently-announced self-titled album. The release of Perpetual Groove will mark the band’s first full-length release since 2009’s Heal, as well as the first LP featuring the group’s classic lineup of guitarist Brock Butler, keyboardist Matt McDonald, bassist Adam Perry, and drummer Albert Suttle since 2007’s LIVELOVEDIE. The band’s forthcoming album was recorded in 2018 at studios in North Carolina and Georgia, and was produced by Jason Kingsland and Tim Friesen.

With the release of Perpetual Groove, the band will hit the road for a robust 2019 tour. In addition to their show in New York City, the band will crisscross the country, hitting markets in the South and East Coast, as well as a run through Colorado.

Perpetual Groove will be out on all streaming platforms on Friday, May 17th. The band will also release the album on CD, and, for the first time ever, they will release music on vinyl.

Tickets to Perpetual Groove at Gramercy Theatre go on sale this Friday, April 5th at 10:00 AM, but a pre-sale is running NOW using the password VIBES on Live Nation. For full event info, see below.
