On Friday, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong stopped by the headquarters of Martin Guitars in Nazareth, Pennsylvania for a short performance that was broadcast live on Facebook. The Baltimore-based funk act offered up their first-ever full-band acoustic set at Martin’s Museum and Visitor Center.

Guitarists Jeremy Schon and Greg Ormont, bassist Ben Carrey and drummer Alex Petropulos dug in on an extended open-ended “ACOOstic Jam” before making their way into “Julia.” The quartet dropped a cover of “Under The Sky” from Disney’s The Little Mermaid in the middle of the track from their 2014 LP Psychology. PPPP then closed things out with setlist staple “Dawnn A New Day.” Watch Pigeons Playing Ping Pong’s full set below:

In other PPPP news, the band released their 2019 Tiny Desk Concert submission by way of pro-shot video featuring “Something For Ya” filmed on March 22 at the House Of Blues in Cleveland. The quartet was joined by a miniature version of wrestling legend Ric Flair. Pigeons shared the following with the video on Facebook, “PPPPresenting WOO Sauce! Thrilled to announce we have teamed up with Ric Flair, The Nature Boy to concoct some seriously COO-razy hot sauce, coming soon to a Trader Joe’s near you.”
