David Fricke (Rolling Stone), Cameron Sears (Rex Foundation), Michael Dorf (City Winery) and Roger McNamee are among the speakers at this year’s Relix Live Music Conference (RLMC). The third annual installment of the event will be held on May 14 and 15 at New York City’s Brooklyn Bowl.
The two-day live music and entertainment industry event will feature panels on a wide range of topics. Some of the panels set for RLMC 2019 are It’s A Love-Hate Thing: Music’s Dependence On Social Media, I Was A Teenage Guster Rep, Promise & Pain: Ticketing Tries To Grow Up, The Art Of Hospitality, Case Study: The Bowery Presents and In Conversation With Peter Shapiro & Seth Hurwitz. On May 14, Brooklyn Bowl will host the “We B-E-E Spelling” after party. The live game show and spelling bee, which will act as a fundraiser for HeadCount, will feature Andy Frasco and The U.N. as the house band. This year’s participants include defending champion Aaron Stein, Jonathan Schwartz (SiriusXM), The Disco Biscuits‘ Marc Brownstein, bassist Karina Rykman, Rachel Baron (DayGlo Ventures) and JamBase’s own Scott Bernstein.
