Rodrigo y Gabriela’s new album Mettavolution is available to stream in advance of its official release. NPR Music’s First Listen series premiered the album, which comes out on ATO Records on April 26.
The seven-song follow-up to 2014’s 9 Dead Alive was produced by Dave Sardy. The acoustic guitar duo wrote the songs on Mettavolution at their studio in Ixtapa, Mexico and recorded the album late last year in Los Angeles. Included on the new record is an 18-minute cover of Pink Floyd’s “Echoes.” Stream Mettavolution via the link to NPR below:
