Steely Dan confirmed a five-show residency at Boston’s Orpheum Theatre spanning October 25 – November 1. The band will perform a classic album at each of the first four nights and will end with a concert focused on “Greatest Hits.”
On October 25, Steely Dan will play 1977’s Aja in its entirety. Then, on October 26, the group will work a complete performance of Donald Fagen’s 1982 album The Nightfly into the setlist. Next, on October 29, Steely Dan will present all of 1980’s Gaucho before a night including 1976’s The Royal Scam on October 30 and the “Greatest Hits” finale on November 1. The five-show residency is the latest addition to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame act’s “Sweet” fall tour. A similiar run in Philadelphia follows the Boston shows.
