The Avett Brothers participated in a special Gospel Hour set at last weekend’s Merlefest. The familial Sunday performance featured Seth Avett and Scott Avett’s father Jim Avett and their sister Bonnie Avett.
The Gospel Hour saw Jim Avett leading his children through such traditional hymns as “Leaning On The Everlasting Arms,” “Softly And Tenderly,” “Blest Be The Tie That Binds,” “It Is Well With My Soul” and “When The Roll Is Called.” Those songs can be seen and heard in audience-shot video footage captured by DCRANGERFAN and presented in the playlist below:
