Fresh off of their marathon 4/20 performance in Brooklyn, NY with help from Robert Randolph and Brandon ‘Taz’ Niederauer this past weekend, Twiddle took to their social media outlets on Thursday to share the video from last year’s Red Rocks appearance in early May of last year.

The show that night saw the band re-introducing fan favorite “Frankenfoote” into the setlist for the first time since 2016. After starting the show with “Frankenfoote”, Twiddle welcomed both Phil and Grahame Lesh to the stage to help them perform a cover of Grateful Dead fan favorite, “Shakedown Street”. The song has a special connection to Red Rocks, as that’s where the Dead debuted the disco-sounding tune on August 31st, 1978. After starting the song, the team of musicians transitioned into Twiddle’s own “White Light” before returning to “Shakedown” to close out the memorable sit-in. The set would continue with performances of “Beethoven and Greene”, “Hatti’s Jam”, Hattibagen McRat, and closing with “When it Rains It Pours”.

The band would return to the stage for a two-song encore beginning with a cover of Bob Marley and the Wailers‘ “Jammin’” with help from Stick Figure. Stick Figure would remain on stage as Twiddle closed their performance with another cover, with The Beatles’ “With A Little Help From My Friends”. Fans can relive the entire performance from last year’s Red Rocks show in the video below. Fans will quickly notice the video starts out with some fun messages courtesy of sports reporter Dan Patrick, Keller WilliamsKamasi WashingtonPete Shapiro, and more.
