Pigeons Playing Ping Pong welcomed of Twiddle for a sit-in on Thursday as part of their first of two shows at Higher Ground in South Burlington, Vermont. Professionally-shot video of last night’s concert has been shared.
Mihali emerged in the middle of the first set to add guitar to “Live Life.” Savoulidis took a solo and then dueled with PPPP lead guitarist Jeremy Schon. Pigeons Playing Ping Pong focused on original materials from throughout their career that have become live staples last night including “Porcupine,” “Poseidon,” “Horizon,” “Henrietta” and “Whirled.” The group also fit a cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Living For The City” into their second set and encored with “Fun In Funk.”
