Bonnaroo Arch Reportedly Destroyed

The iconic Bonnaroo arch appears to have been destroyed in a fire. As reported by the Tennessean, posts on social media by Festive Owl and others showed a structure believed to be the Bonnaroo arch significantly damaged by a fire.

Festive Owl tweeted a screenshot of what appears to be a response from Bonnaroo to a direct message asking if the arch was on fire. The image shows the Bonnaroo Twitter account responding, “The arch had recently discovered significant structural issues and needs to be replaced/dismantled.” Photos of the charred remains of a heavily damaged structure were also shared.

Bonnaroo returns to The Farm in Manchester, Tennessee on June 13 – 16. The 2019 lineup features Phish, Childish Gambino, The Lumineers and Post Malone as well as The Avett Brothers, Brandi Carlile, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Courtney Barnett, Jim James (Full Band), John Prine, GRiZ, The National, The Lonely Island, Mac DeMarco, Trampled By Turtles, The Wood Brothers and many more.
