Drewcifer, the collective of musicians from Railroad Earth, Marco Benevento‘s band, and more, have announced their plans to return for a brief run of shows across the northeast next month.

The four-piece band comprised of bassist Andrew Altman (Railroad Earth), guitarist Andy Falco (the Infamous Stringdusters), Vibraphonist Kevin Kendrick (Joe Russo), and drummer David Butler (Guster, Marco Benevento), made their live debut in fall 2017 with a run of shows along the eastern U.S. They also made their debut at New York City’s Brooklyn Bowl last June, but have not played a show together in the months since due to their commitments to their main bands, understandably.

The quartet has since announced they will return next month for three performances at Stanhope House in Stanhope, NJ (6/6); Fairfield StageOne in Fairfield, CT (6/7); and Bluepoint Brewery in Patchogue, NY (6/8). The latter show will be a free afternoon performance. The band also announced their plans to hopefully release a new single just in time for the shows next month.

“Together they explore original material, choice covers, and rework classics from their respective outfits in ways that could only be possible with their unique instrumentation,” the band said in a statement to go with the announcement.
