Mavis Staples and Ben Harper shared the video for the title track from her upcoming album, We Get By. The visual features the legendary soul singer and Harper singing in the studio together.
Staples’ We Get By is set to arrive on May 24 via Anti- Records. Harper produced the record and also wrote the album’s 11 tracks. The duo previously shared the singles, “Change” and “Anytime.” We Get By is Staples’ 12th studio album release to date.
“It’s what I love to do,” Staples says at the outset of the video. “Sing a song that’s gonna help somebody … it keeps me optimistic that things are gonna get better. No matter what, I’ll be there for you. We get by. We’re gonna make it.”
