Midnight North Replaces Chris Robinson Brotherhood On 2019 LOCKN’ Lineup

On May 1, Chris Robinson Brotherhood announced that founding keyboardist Adam MacDougall was leaving the band. At the time, the group also noted that it would be going on hiatus following their July tour dates, with the break extending at least until the end of 2019. Now, LOCKN’ Festival organizers have announced that Midnight North will replace the Chris Robinson-fronted act on the 2019 lineup.

The Chris Robinson Brotherhood was previously scheduled to perform on Thursday, August 22, ahead of the day’s headliners of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Gary Clark Jr. and Khruangbin. Instead, Midnight North will take over the band’s afternoon spot, helping kick off the Arrington, Virginia music event that spans until Sunday, August 25. However, CRB members will still be on hand during the weekend, as guitarist Neal Casal will re-join with MacDougall to perform a late-night set in Garcia’s Forest as Circles Around the Sun.

LOCKN’ tickets are on sale now here.
