Guitarist Cory Wong will open for The String Cheese Incident on the first night of this year’s Red Rocks run. SCI will play the Morrison, Colorado venue July 19 – 21 with Wong aboard for the 19th.
The Greyboy Allstars were originally slated to support Cheese at Red Rocks but pulled out when The Rolling Stones rescheduled their North American Tour, which made GBA multi-instrumentalist and Stones saxophonist Karl Denson unavailable to perform. Keller Williams will open on July 20 and Del McCoury Band will open on July 21. While Wong has played Red Rocks with Vulfpeck, this will mark his solo debut at the venue.
