Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio has now shared video of the first eight songs he performed at each Ghosts Of The Forest concert on his YouTube channel. The four latest pro-shot clips added to the channel are “Halfway Home,” “If Again” and “There’s A Path Above” from April 13 in New York City as well as “In Long Lines” from April 6 in Washington D.C. Anastasio previously unveiled videos of “Sightless Escape”, “Ghosts Of The Forest,” “Drift While You’re Sleeping” and “Friend”.
Ghosts Of The Forest, the band, featured Trey along with drummer Jon Fishman of Phish plus Trey Anastasio Band bassist Tony Markellis and keyboardist Ray Paczkowski as well as vocalists Jennifer Hartswick and Celisse. “Halfway Home” is a soul-laden rocker, “If Again” is a gorgeous instrumental (outside of “Ooohs” from Hartswick and Celisse) on which Trey used an acoustic, “In Long Lines” is a somber and powerful tune detailing his last days with childhood friend Chris “CCott” Cottrell and “There’s A Path Above” is a soaring and groovy number.
The sextet embarked on just one tour that began on April 4 in Portland, Maine and ended on April 21 in Berkeley, California. Ghosts Of The Forest made stops in Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Albany, Boston, New York City and Los Angeles along the way. Watch all eight videos that have been shared thus far below:
