In a new episode of the long-running Sugarshack Acoustic Live Music Series, Turkuaz performs a stellar acoustic rendition of “The Question.” The clip offers an interesting look into the funk-fueled nine-piece, with the Brooklyn band stripping down the originally synth-heavy and electrified track off last year’s Life In The City.
The video, which was recorded in Miami, Florida, is a product of Turkuaz’s recent tours through the Sunshine State. In January, members of the technicolored nonet returned to the state to board Jam Cruise 17. Most recently, at the end of April, the group performed two shows across Tampa and Miami Beach ahead of the band’s return to New Orleans during the celebration of the annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
