Big Gigantic has announced their plans to bring their Rowdytown 3D experience to New York City. The event will take place on Friday, August 23rd at The Brooklyn Mirage and feature supporting performances by Hippie Sabotage, shallou, Louis Futon, and ilo ilo.
This will mark the first edition of the electronic duo’s long-running Rowdytown festival series to take place in New York. The 8th edition of Rowdytown at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO will take place on September 27th of this year.
In a recent interview with Jennifer Hartswick, a veteran Big Gigantic Rowdytown collaborator, the vocalist/trumpeter issued a simple but stern endorsement of the 3D production: “The stuff that happens visually at that thing… I don’t know if you’ve experienced the 3D thing. Go experience the 3D thing. It will blow your mind.”
