Martin Scorsese‘s forthcoming documentary chronicling Bob Dylan‘s legendary Rollin Thunder Revue 1975 tour is set to arrive on Netflix in just a few days June 12th. Over the last few weeks, Netflix has shared the first official trailer for the film in addition to behind-the-scenes footage of Dylan and his band rehearsing. The streaming service has since followed those up by sharing full-song footage of Dylan in concert performing “Hard Rain”, the title track from the folk-rock guitarist’s 1976 live album which was recorded throughout the tour.

The clip features Dylan in full facepaint as that electric guitar of his leads the way on the lively rock tune. In addition to including wide shots showing the entire band, the camera operators seemed to love zooming in on that painted mug of Dylan’s peeking out behind the hair being pushed down by his flower-filled hat. The show’s camera personnel traded close-ups for a group shot towards the song’s solo section, as members of the band gathered around each other like circled wagons to tear through the instrumental part of the song.

As Netflix has noted in a statement about the upcoming film, “Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese captures the troubled spirit of America in 1975, and the joyous music that Bob Dylan performed that fall.” The film will include interviews with Joan Baez, Rubin “Hurricane” Carter, Sam Shepard, Allen Ginsberg, and even Dylan himself, who agreed to give his first on-camera interview in over a decade.
The film’s accompanying 14-disc, 148-track boxset, Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1975 Live Recordings, arrived this past Friday.
