A Sweet Relief Musicians’ Fund has been established for Jeff Austin following the news of his recent medical emergency and hospitalization. Fans who are looking to donate to Jeff Austin’s medical care are now able to via the new Jeff Austin fund.
The Sweet Relief page explains,

What we can share at this time, is that Jeff is in Seattle with his family, receiving the best care possible. Please consider showing your support, and love by contributing to his medical fund.
On Saturday, Austin canceled a handful of upcoming shows due to a medical emergency. Austin has received an outpouring of love since the news started spreading throughout the music scene. Jeff’s former band, Yonder Mountain String Band, acknowledged his medical emergency at Telluride Bluegrass Festival.
Halfway through their Telluride Bluegrass set, bassist Ben Kaufmann stepped up to the mic. He explained,
Twenty years ago me, Dave and Adam and Jeff Austin stood on this stage and we shared our music with you for the first time. We woke up today and the internet was on fire with rumors and speculation about our brother Jeff Austin. And what we can say is that he is still with us. What is appropriate right now: if you’re a prayer, send prayers his way. If you’re a lover, send love his way. If you’re a healer, send energy his way. This is what we’re going to send his way.
Yonder then worked their way into “Half Moon Rising”, a song that Jeff Austin wrote and Yonder has put on the shelf since Jeff departed the band in 2014.
Also on Saturday, Umphrey’s McGee invited Turkuaz’s Shira Elias, Sammi Garett, Christopher Brouwers, Greg Sanderson, and Joshua Schwartz up on stage at Red Rocks Amphitheatre to assist on a cover of The Beatles‘ “I Get By With A Little Help From My Friends”, which was dedicated to Austin.
