The Avett Brothers have announced an upcoming performance at Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, NY with tour comrades Lake Street Dive.
The latest addition to the folk-rock band’s 2019 tour schedule will see both bands heading to the Brooklyn arena on Saturday, October 5th. Lake Street Dive is already set to join The Avett Brothers for select dates on their upcoming summer run, which begins on July 3rd with a performance at the Providence Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, KS.

The Brooklyn show’s announcement comes following the band’s appearances at New York’s Mountain Jam and Tennessee’s Bonnaroo over the weekend, and just a few days after they announced their next studio album, Closer Than Together. The forthcoming album will be the folk-rock band’s first studio effort since 2016’s True Sadness, and is scheduled to arrive on October 4th via Republic Records.
Pre-sale tickets for the Barclay’s Center show go on sale this Wednesday, June 19th at 12 p.m. Local, with the public on-sale following on Friday, June 21st. Head to the band’s website for tickets and tour info.
