The Infamous Stringdusters have shared the official music video for “Truth and Love”, one of the tracks included on their latest studio album, 2019’s Rise Sun.
The arrival of the music video for “Truth and Love” on Friday follows the previous release for “Rise Sun”, and showcases the bluegrass/folk outfit on the road with behind-the-scenes tour footage. The slightly sped-up video was directed by Jay Strausser, and includes uniquely edited shots of the band on their tour bus, playing at soundcheck, and ultimately performing in front of their fans in various venues across the country. The video’s fast format editing makes for a fun visual to match the fast-paced life of being a touring musician.

“We’ve always admired [Strausser’s] work and when the opportunity arose to bring him out on the road we naturally jumped on it,” the band said in a statement to go with the video’s premiere. “He is able to deliver a visual narrative of our shows and somehow capture the energy of the band and audience in pictures which is a crucial part of telling our story to the world. He created this video for ‘Truth and Love’ using clusters of still photos from the road and achieved a fantastically unique looking video that also showcases the amazing work out our lighting director Jason Gutworth.”
