On Sunday, Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival continued rolling through the east coast with a stop at Hartford, CT’s Xfinity Theatre.
Following earlier sets in the day by Phil Lesh & The Friends, Alison Krauss, The Revivalists, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, and Particle Kid, Willie Nelson & Family offered up the evening’s headlining and final set. During their encore, the country icon and his backing band welcomed Phil Lesh, The Terrapin Family Band’s Grahame Lesh, Ross James, and Alex Koford, along with The Revivalists’ David Shaw and Michael Girardot for their encore medley of “Will The Circle Be Unbroken” and “I’ll Fly Away”. Willie’s guests huddled around two microphones on stage left, adding some lush backing vocals on the spirited finale.

Nelson’s traveling Outlaw Music Festival will continue on Friday, June 21st at Toronto, ON’s Budweiser Stage, featuring performances by Willie Nelson & Family, The Avett Brothers, Alison Krauss, Matt Mays, and more.
