Jim James Announces Orchestral Shows In Washington, D.C., Seattle

With only four shows on My Morning Jacket‘s 2019 touring schedule, Jim James has announced two orchestral concerts with Louisville Orchestra conductor Teddy Abrams. James and Abrams will work through their collaborative The Order of Nature: A Song Cycle arrangement, which debuted at Louisville’s Kentucky Center For The Arts’ Whitney Hall in April 2018.

James and Abrams will first offer up their orchestral show at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. on September 4th, 2019, which will also feature vocal accompaniment from The Capitol Hearings. James and Abrams will regroup on May 12th, 2020 at Seattle, WA’s Benaroya Hall.
