Questlove, most notably known as the joint frontman for Grammy Award-winning band The Roots, has announced his first-ever cookbook, Mixtape Potluck, set for release on October 15th via Abrams Image.

Questlove’s forthcoming book features a foreword by Martha Stewart and includes a wide range of contributors including Fred Armisen, Maya Rudolph, Amy Poehler, Natalie Portman, and Jimmy Fallon, to name a few. A press release explains that Mixtape Potluck is “a dinner party for friends, their recipes, and the songs they inspire.”

The 48-year-old drummer shared his thoughts on his first-ever cookbook via his Instagram. He explained,

I mixed together my passion for music & food by bringing together over 50 of my pals– a mix of chefs, entertainers, artists, thought leaders & musicians – for the ultimate potluck party. They brought the recipes. I brought the music by pairing each personality with what I think best reflects them. Together we vibe with good food and music and highlight the beautiful synergies between the two.

Fans can head here to pre-order Questlove’s Mixtape Potluck ahead of its October release.
