Soulive‘s six-show, two-weekend run at New York City’s Brooklyn Bowl picks up again later this week after a few days of much-needed rest, and will now feature additional special guests for the final night (Saturday, July 20th) with Tash Neal, Danny Mayer, James Casey, and Brian Thomas now set to join in on the fun.

Soulive had already announced that they would be joined by noted jazz saxophonist and former band member Sam Kininger to help close out the return of Bowlive after a year off in 2018. The additions of Neal, Mayer, Casey, and Thomas to the closing lineup on what the venue is now calling “Family Night” should make for a strong end to what has already been an impressive, jam-filled run thus far. Brian Thomas was already welcomed as one of the guest horn players during the residency’s opening night this past Thursday.

The band will be joined by Marcus King on Thursday, July 18th, and The Meters bassist and New Orleans music legend George Porter Jr. on Friday, July 19th.

Tickets for Saturday’s performance are still available here.
