On Saturday, Camp Bisco wrapped up at Scranton, PA’s Montage Mountain with three sets by host band The Disco Biscuits including a daytime performance with their former drummer and an outer space-themed set in honor of the 50th anniversary of the 1969 lunar landing.
The band took the stage for their “day set” with an extra family member in tow: former drummer Sam Altman.
For their first of two evening sets, the band honored a monumental anniversary—50 years since man first landed on the moon in 1969—with a space-themed set featuring a pair of lunar song sandwiches in “The Very Moon” -> “Moon Theme” -> “The Lunar Pursuit” -> “The Very Moon” followed by “Astronaut” -> “Spacebirdmatingcall” -> “Astronaut” followed by a set-closing “Wet” (“as our bodies fly through space”).
Finally, the band capped their Camp Bisco schedule with one final set featuring a number of fan-favorite tunes like “Save The Robots” and “Spraypaint Victory” before closing things out with a “Home Again” encore.
