The Tomorrow People To Play At Denver’s Cervantes’ Other Side With Fat Tuesday House Band

140

The Tomorrow People are coming to Denver’s Cervantes’ Other Side on Tuesday, August 20th. The show will feature special guests Fat Tuesday House Band for a classic Denver one-of-a-kind musical collaboration.

The Denver four-piece is comprised of The Motet’s Parris Fleming and Garrett Sayers, Tauk’s Isaac Teel, and Jaden Carlson Band’s Chris Beck. Together, the four are a powerhouse of deep progressive rock with edgy jazzy grooves sure to set off this Denver funk-rock party off right.

Joining them for the Tuesday night celebration will be Fat Tuesday House Band, featuring soulful keyboard fireworks by the Magic Beans’ Casey Russell alongside Analog Son’s Will Trask, Dandu’s Sean Dandurand, and Alex Cazet.

Musical collaborations are a key piece to Denver’s ever-growing music scene, and new music is never in short supply in the Mile High city. The host venue for this exciting show, Cervantes’ Other Side, frequently showcases the diverse talent Denver has to offer. Fleming, Sayers, and Teel were all a part of the first-ever edition of Live For Live Music‘s The Funk Sessions in January.

Continuing the onstage musical mashups, Fleming was also just announced a part of “The Phunk Sessions” for an epic 8-piece Phish afterparty alongside George Porter Jr. (The Meters), Robert Walter (The Greyboy Allstars, Mike Gordon, 20th Congress), members of Turkuaz, and some Motet bandmates on August 30th following the Friday night Phish show at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City.

The musical talents included in the Tomorrow People as well as in the Fat Tuesday House Band should make for a classic Denver night of exciting collaborations you won’t want to miss. Tickets to the show can be found HERE.
