Victoria Elise gives new meaning to the term “hot tip.”
Sure, the El Paso-raised glamour model has posed for her fair share of online men’s mags. And she’s racked up an impressive Instagram following just shy of 500,000 thanks to a steady stream of breathtaking snaps lensed during destination photo shoots.
But since we last caught up with Elise, the brainy beauty has parted ways with her serving position at one of Las Vegas’ hottest clubs to day trade stocks and pursue an economics degree full-time at UNLV.
“I wanted to make my savings account work for me and invested in a few mutual funds, and individual stocks for the long term,” she tells Maxim. “Once I felt comfortable with what I was doing, which took a few years, I decided I’ll start learning how to day and swing trade.”
With less than a semester left in her program, Elise was kind enough to share a few starter tips for anyone who’s interested giving day trading a try.
“There are so many things I can think of, like doing your research and due diligence before making a trade. It’s especially important to never risk what you’re not willing to lose.”
“But I think the most important piece of advice is to not trade based on emotion. Just like in Vegas, you’re going to win some and lose some. If you do your homework, know the rules of the game, and play it right, you’ll usually end up on top.”

The Vegas Golden Knights, of course! Never knew how fun and intense hockey can be until we got a team!

I love fashion that’s not only well made, but comfortable and can fit my hips! Like Gianvito Rossi heels, Balmain dresses, and Akris slacks.

Sushi! I can literally eat it every day and never get tired of it.

Sleep, of course! Isn’t that everyone’s favorite thing to do in the bedroom?

He should never try something out on a woman if he doesn’t know what he’s doing.
