Breitling and Surf Legend Kelly Slater Team Up For Superocean Automatic 44 Outerknown Dive Watch

160

Breitling has been killing it with high-profile partnerships. Recently they’ve turned out models created with Bentley, Ironman, and Swissair, to just name a few.

Now, working once again in partnership with surfing icon Kelly Slater‘s Outerknown sustainable apparel company, they’ve added the Breitling Superocean Automatic 44 Outerknown–as well as a connected selection of Econyl Nato-style straps, which are made from recycled nylon.

Slater had a hand in the Superocean Automatic 44 design in addition to pairing it with the Econyl straps, which come in a wide variety of eye-grabbing colors.

The Breitling Superocean Automatic 44 Outerknown naturally comes in a 44mm stainless-steel case. It’s also a true dive watch, not just for show–it can handle a descent to 1000 meters, no problem.

And for what’s meant to be a “tool watch” this Superocean bears a particularly subtle and slick design in its matte green dial, luminous indices and subtle touch of yellow on the second hand. A few more details:

  • Self-winding mechanical movement
  • 38-hour power reserve
  • Calendar at 3 o’clock position
  • Screw-in steel case back engraved with the Outerknown logo

Breitling is offering multiple colors and sizes of Econyl Nato straps, equipped with both steel and DLC-coated buckles.

You can purchase the Breitling Superocean Automatic 44 Outerknown now for $4,200.
