Harley-Davidson Releases the Pan America, Their First Adventure Touring Motorcycle

117

Harley-Davidson is one of the most purely American names in motorcycles. With their lion-like engine roar, Harleys are true to the USA’s legacy of tough-minded individualism.

That’s why it’s a surprise that it’s taken so long for the company to come up with an adventure touring bike like the new Pan America, which has been designed with a very American brand of wanderlust in mind.

In producing the 2020 Harley-Davidson Pan America, H-D is jumping into the ADV market feet first, delivering a bike that fares equally well off the road as on. It has truly been designed to take on just about any kind of terrain the rider might dare to tackle—Michelin teamed with Brembo to create the tires and braking system to ensure the Pan America could back up its badass vibe with real capability.

Gear Patrol has more:

At the Pan America’s heart lies Harley’s newest V-twin powerplant, the liquid-cooled Revolution Max. The burly 1,250cc engine cranks out at least 140 horsepower and north of 90 pound-feet of torque, ensuring this ADV has the grunt to leap over or blast through practically anything man or nature can throw at it.

Hard to read that and not want to just go ahead and hit the roads, then the trails, then the hillsides.

Look for the Harley-Davidson Pan America adventure touring motorcycle in H-D dealerships in late 2020.
