Nicole Atkins is currently working on material for the follow-up to 2017’s Goodnight Rhonda Lee. Atkins will perform some of the new songs she’s written during a run of five club shows that will take place on the West Coast in April following SXSW showcases.
The Nashville resident and her live band — consisting of keyboardist Clint Chandler, bassist Spencer Duncan, drummer Danny Banks and guitarist Stephen Warwick — will kick off the brief tour at The Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles on April 16. Atkins and company’s trip up the West Coast also includes stops in San Francisco on April 17, Portland on April 20 and Seattle on April 21. Nicole is currently slated to end the run at Denver’s Globe Hall on April 24 but more dates will be confirmed soon. Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 24.
