Greensky Bluegrass welcomed Tom Hamilton & Holly Bowling of opening act Ghost Light for a collaborative encore on Saturday night in Boston. Holly & Tom joined GSBG on keys and guitar, respectively, at the House Of Blues.

After Ghost Light’s performance, Greensky opened their first of two sets with a run of “Hit Parade Of Love,” “I’d Probably Kill You,” “While Waiting” and “Kerosene.” The pairing of “What’s Left Of The Night” and “Miss September” was then followed by the quintet’s first cover of John Hartford’s “Get No Better” since December 30, 2018. GSBG capped the set with their own “All For Money” and Jeff Austin’s “Peace Of Mind.”

Saturday’s second Greensky set got underway with “Better Off” and a nicely jammed “Take Cover.” Next up was the sequence of “Demons,” “When I Get My Hands On You,” “Old Barns” and “Murder Of Crows.” Then, GSBG delivered their mashup of “Tarpology” and “One Slip” before closing the frame with “Past My Prime.” Hamilton and Bowling emerged for a cover of Norton Buffalo’s “Ain’t No Bread In The Breadbox” as the evening’s encore.
