Amanda Shires shared a new single entitled “Deciphering Dreams.” The track is the singer-songwriter’s first solo release since her 2018 album, To The Sunset.

Shires last year recorded and released the self-titled debut album by the supergroup The Highwomen that also includes Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris and Natalie Hemby. The new single features Shires on violin, vocals and tenor guitar and a supporting cast made up of her husband Jason Isbell on guitar, his The 400 Unit band mate Jimbo Hart on bass, regular Shires collaborator Peter Levin on keyboards and The Highwomen’s and Carlile’s drummer Chris Powell. Another of Shires’ frequent collaborators, Dave Cobb produced the session that was engineered by Gena Johnson.
