Drake’s taste in timepieces is eclectic, and his latest Jacob & Co. watch is a perfect example. Watches with a functioning roulette table are not a dime a dozen.
And the roulette complication is just one of a handful of striking features on Drizzy’s new Astronomia Casino.
The Astronomia has a four-arm setup inside a rose gold and sapphire crystal case. On one arm is a double-axis tourbillon. Then there’s a time display, a lacquered globe, and an arm holding a Jacob-cut, 288-facet diamond.
Jacob & Co. has been a go-to for high-end Horlogerie for decades now. The company doesn’t have the name recognition of Richard Mille today, but it easily approaches Mille for adventurous engineering.
Additional specs include 47mm case diameter and a 60-hour power reserve, impressive in an automatic with such a range of features. The Astronomia is also water-resistant to 30 meters.
