Phil Lesh has put bands together to recreate Grateful Dead shows that took place on his birthday, March 15. The first two birthday celebrations will take place on February 10 and 11 with a third scheduled for February 17. All three concerts will be held at Terrapin Crossroads’ Grate Room in San Rafael, California.
The Grateful Dead’s bassist’s band for February 10 and 11 will include guitarists Stu Allen and Grahame Lesh, drummer John Molo and more musicians to be announced. On February 17, Phil will be joined by Allen, Scott Law, John Molo and others to be announced. Details of which show Lesh and company will recreate on each date have not been revealed. Tickets for the 10th and 11th are on sale here, while tickets for the 17th sold out. Phil Lesh turns 80 on March 15.
