The Grateful Dead dug into the vault for the latest installment of their All The Years Live video series. Pro-shot video of the Dead’s “They Love Each Other” from December 27, 1983 at the San Francisco Civic Auditorium can be viewed below.

“One of the few songs in the Dead’s repertoire that underwent a dramatic rearrangement during its lifetime, similar to ‘Friend Of The Devil’ and ‘Loose Lucy.’ In 1973, ‘They Love Each Other’ appeared in a peppy arrangement, with a very cool bridge,” explained Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux. “It was then dropped, only to return in 1976 in a much slower arrangement, without the bridge. It was recorded for Jerry’s Reflections album.”
