Twiddle welcomed Kitchen Dwellers for guest spots on Saturday and Sunday nights. Kitchen Dwellers teamed with Twiddle on Saturday night at Park West in Chicago and then again on Sunday night at Delmar Hall in St. Louis.
Saturday’s show began with an “Apples” sandwich featuring “Dr. Remidi’s Melodium” within followed by “Jamflowman.” Then, Kitchen Dwellers emerged for Twiddle original “Hattibagen McRat” and their own “Visions Of Mohr.” Another sandwich got the second set underway as “Be There” came in the middle of “Lost In The Cold.” Next up was the recently debuted “Slippin’ In The Kitchen” and a run of “The Box” into “Frankenfoote” into “The Box.” Twiddle keyboardist Ryan “Norb” Dempsey played Keytar from the second floor mezzanine during “Frankenfoote.” For the encore, Kitchen Dwellers & Twiddle tackled Warren G’s “Regulate” and “Barbecue” by ALO.
Twiddle kicked off Sunday’s first set with “Daydream Farmer” and then inserted their first ever jam on Hanson’s “MMMBop” within “Zazu’s Flight.” Torrin Daniels and Shawn Swain emerged a few songs later for the Twiddle debut of “Mr. Jones” by Counting Crows. Then, “Hattie’s Jam” bled into “When It Rains It Pours” to end the frame. Last night’s second set was highlighted by the quartet working “Classical Gas” into “Gatsy The Great.” The encore saw Twiddle cover Keller Williams’ “Best Feeling.”
