Black Pumas shared video of an in-studio performance of their song “Oct 33.” The tune appears on the Austin-based psychedelic soul duo’s 2019 self-titled album.
Black Pumas — consisting of core members vocalist Eric Burton and guitarist Adrian Quesada — are fresh on the heels of a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. Their recently released in-studio performance video sees Black Pumas backed by a string quartet consisting of violinists Alexis Buffum and Leigh Wallenhaupt, violist Leah Nelson and cellist Nora Karakousoglou.
