Preservation Hall Jazz Band recently stopped by KEXP’s studio in Seattle to perform for the radio station’s live music video series. The legendary New Orleans outfit offered up four songs spanning their last three albums: Tuba To Cuba, So It Is and That’s It!
PHJB kicked off the session with “Convergence.” The song appears on 2017’s So It Is. Next up, the band played tunes from their latest album, 2019’s Tuba To Cuba, with “Malecón” and, after chatting with host Troy Nelson, “Keep Your Head Up.” Preservation Hall Jazz Band closed out the session with “Sugar Plum” from 2013’s That’s It!
